11 Weeks

I really haven’t been thinking about the Blog this week because it’s our LA Market at work and I have been extremely busy. Five times a year buyer from all over come to LA to shop from our showroom. During this time we are open on weekends. It’s generally pretty busy but the preparation needed is the hardest part. We have to make sure our designers send sample on time, merchandise everything, and make sure we call everyone for appointments. Once LA Market is over I fly to Dallas and do the same thing there for 4 days.

With that being said I have been very exhausted and sick the past week. Our Markets always take a lot out of me because I am constantly working at 200%. Now working that hard and making a baby is taking its toll! Today is our third day at market and I feel like I could sleep for weeks. I only have 7 more days of this craziness and hopefully I can get back to my normal routine. I think my nausea has actually gotten worse. All my vices that were working previously now make me sick. The only thing that is offering some relief is gum and that doesn’t fill my belly. Last night I had a cup full of dry honey combs for dinner (It’s so sad that is all I can eat).

I have two weeks left of my first trimester and all the books and friends tell me I will feel much better. I received my 11 week update from babycenter.com this morning and it made me really happy. It said the baby is the size of a Fig now. I can’t believe how fast it’s growing. They also said “She's already busy kicking and stretching, her tiny movements are so effortless they look like water ballet.” Tell me that doesn’t melt your heart… I couldn’t help from crying
