First steps!!!

Baines took her first steps tonight and it was awesome.  We're at Lake Powell now with my family.  After a day at the lake we were watching a movie and eating pizza.   Baines was holding on to the coffee  table and took 2 steps towards me.  It was so cute.  We had her do it again and this time she took 5 steps.  I'm so proud of her and it was exceptionally awesome because my family was here to share the moment.  We'll get a video soon to prove it!

Macie Bacie

Last night our poor Macie dog had a small seizure. She's never had one before and it was the scariest thing I've ever seen. Nicholas grabbed her up and took her to the emergency vet. By the time they got there she was already recovering. I cried my eyes out until Nicholas called with good news. The doctor looked her over and said she should be fine. We just need to keep an eye on her for 24 hours. During all that was going on little B just sat quietly on my lap. I'm sure she could sense our stress. She is such a sweet baby and loves the doggies so much. We're all happy Macie is doing better!

Today Baines got to try avocado for the first time. She was not too excited about it but we'll see if it grows on her over the next few days.

I'm sitting alone in a crappy hotel room in Houston watching christmas movies. I miss my little family! Traveling for work is extra hard now. :-(

You can tell in this picture that she has lost more than half of her hair.  We can see that the new growth is going to be blonde.  Its crazy how fast they change over such a short period of time.
