Easter

We had a lovely Easter!  The weather was amazing, the food was amazing and we got to spend it with family.   I just love seeing Baines play with her cousins.  She just loves them so much and so do we!

Park

Yet again I have to leave for work today. I've been gone 3 times this month so now I officially deserve the worst mother of the year award. I hate leaving... I feel like I miss out on so much. She is developing so rapidly and everyday is different.

At least I don't have to worry about Nicholas. He is such a good dad. This last week his parents were on vacation, he stayed home to watch her all week. She has a blast hanging out with him and I'm super jealous. I know he's going to be the fun parent since I always work. Boo!!!

Anyways, I have to enjoy the moments I do get so we squeezed in as much fun as we could yesterday. The park is becoming one of her favorite places. She yells and laughs at the Dogs, Points at the airplanes, crawls up and down the hills, and Nicholas was helping her walk/run in the grass. She loved it! and lets be honest, we did too!

Cool Pool Party

Baines had her first birthday party on Saturday, July 30th. We shared the day will tons of our friends and family. My Mom, Dad, Grandma and Grandpa even flew in from Utah to help celebrate. Everyone had a good time at Enterline's pool. They have a great kid friendly house.

This was the first party I ever planned so I was a little nervous but I'm really proud how it turned out. Here's some pictures of our fun day. Sorry it's really photo heavy, I had a hard time choosing my favorites. You can see the rest of our pictures here Cool Pool Party.

Passed out after all that cake

She ended a fun filled day sleeping in her Great Grandmother's arms.

Lake Powell

A few weeks ago we spent an awesome week in Lake Powell with my family. It was the first vacation Nicholas and I have taken together that we stayed in a hotel(Normally we just go to Utah and stay with the fam). Needless to say we got some much needed relaxation and fun. It was just nice to be away from home construction for awhile. Being in a gorgeous scenic setting wasn't so bad either. Thanks again Mom & Dad for such a fun trip!!!
